Lego has created a working pinball table with a retro Space theme, showcasing the company's ability to build functional models without electronic parts. The set, called the Arcade Pinball Machine (set #11374), consists of 2,274 pieces and is inspired by the classic Lego Space theme from the 1970s and 1980s.
Mechanical Marvel
The pinball table operates purely through mechanical engineering. It features a spring-powered launcher, two flippers, spinning bumpers, and a ramp bridge, all functioning like a real pinball machine. A progress bar allows players to track their score as they hit asteroid targets to rescue a baby astronaut. The minifigures come in a new light blue color.
Design and Dimensions
Targeted at adult fans, the model measures 38 cm long, 28 cm wide, and 24 cm high. It aims to replicate the look and feel of an old-school pinball table.
Pricing and Availability
The set is priced at £189.99 and goes on sale from July 4 at Lego stores and online. Lego Insiders can purchase it from July 1 with a free sign-up.
