LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is currently available in early access, but only for players who have purchased the £79.99 Deluxe Edition. The standard edition is set to launch on May 22 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, allowing all players to experience the block-based adventure.
According to the official release schedule, the game will unlock at midnight local time in most regions. However, an exception applies to the west coast of the United States, where players can start playing at 9pm PT on May 21, while east coast players will gain access at midnight ET on May 22.
PC players face a different situation. The Steam product page lists a separate release time of 6pm BST on May 22 for UK gamers. For comparison, this translates to 10am PT / 1pm ET in the US and 7pm CET across Europe.
The staggered rollout means that console owners will generally have earlier access to the game on launch day, while PC users in the UK must wait until the evening. Despite the delay, the title has drawn favourable comparisons to the acclaimed Arkham trilogy.
