Prime Video's new revenge thriller Kill Jackie, starring Catherine Zeta-Jones, was partially filmed in Swansea, where the Welsh actress grew up. The series is based on the best-seller The Price You Pay by Nick Harkaway.
Jackie Price, played by Zeta-Jones, sees her luxurious lifestyle turned upside down when she is hunted by the deadly assassin group The Seven Demons. She had spent the past 20 years travelling, selling art and staying under the radar after her career as an international cocaine dealer, but her old life has finally caught up with her.
Filming in Swansea
Filming for Kill Jackie took place in Bilbao, Spain, London and Swansea. Speaking to Conde Nast Traveller, Zeta-Jones said: “It was great to go back to Swansea, back to streets that I remember.
“The first thing I did was go to Johnnies, my favourite fish and chip shop, and Joe's Ice Cream – their Welsh classic vanilla is phenomenal and I highly recommend people head to Swansea for them.
“We filmed very close to where I went to dancing school and where my grandmother was brought up, nearby to where my auntie went to church – my childhood was all in this area.
“I have a very special place in my heart for Wales and the Welsh people.”

Sam is Jackie's conventional lawyer who rapidly becomes entangled in her being targeted and consequently must also flee. He is portrayed by Daniel Ings, best known for roles in Netflix's The Gentlemen, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, The Crown and Lovesick.
Gwen – Darci Shaw
Gwen belongs to Jackie's chosen family, also referred to as her “wayward relatives”. She is played by Darci Shaw, whose previous work includes Netflix's The Irregulars, Disney Plus drama A Thousand Blows and BBC drama This City Is Ours.
Karenina – Sidse Babett Knudsen
Karenina is an ambitious Russian assassin and the mastermind behind the creation of the lethal “Seven Demons”. Actress Sidse Babett Knudsen is recognised for playing Birgitte Nyborg in Borgen and Theresa Cullen in Westworld.
Sean Harper – Raff Law
Sean Harper, known by the nickname The Yank, is among the professional assassins contracted to eliminate Jackie Price. The role is taken by Raff Law, who appeared as Sergeant Ken Lemmons in Masters of the Air and has featured in films including Twist and How to Make a Killing with Glen Powell.
Don Markel – Enzo Cilenti
Don Markel maintains close connections to the criminal underworld, particularly with the contract-killing organisation The Seven Demons. He is brought to life by Enzo Cilenti, whose credits include The Serpent Queen, The Theory of Everything, Guardians of the Galaxy, I Fought the Law and The Martian.
