Grand Theft Auto VI is set to release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, and retailers are already taking pre-orders. GAME is listing the game at £69.99, but a limited-time cashback offer can bring that price down to £54.15 for shoppers who are new to TopCashback.
The deal means a saving of more than £15 compared with GAME's standard price. Existing TopCashback members are not left empty-handed, though: they can still secure a copy for £69.15 after cashback is applied. The offer runs until August 17, according to TopCashback.
Lucia and Jason take on Vice City
GTA VI marks the first mainline 3D entry in the series to feature a female protagonist. Players take control of Lucia alongside her partner in crime, Jason, with early trailers hinting at an adventure in which something goes terribly wrong for the pair. The game returns to Vice City, a location longtime fans will remember from earlier titles.
On its website, Rockstar Games says the two "find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive".
Pre-order details and alternatives
Rockstar has confirmed that physical pre-orders of GTA VI will contain download codes rather than the full game on disc, so an internet connection will be needed to download the game. Amazon is offering the title at a reduced price, while Very is also selling it for £69.99.
For those who cannot wait, Saints Row Day One Edition is available for the PS5 on Amazon for £12.90, offering similar themes of criminal drama and high-octane action. Players could also revisit GTA V, which is currently reduced on Amazon for PS5 from £23.25 to £22.46, delivering a large open world packed with missions and story twists.
While GTA VI has been confirmed for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, no release dates have yet been announced for PC or Nintendo Switch.
