Glastonbury Festival 2027 tickets go on sale this week, but no acts have been confirmed. Festival organiser Emily Eavis has said she has booked all three headliners, but has given few clues. The rumour mill is already turning, with Harry Styles, Sam Fender and Radiohead among the names most frequently mentioned.
Rumoured headliners for 2027
Harry Styles is the current bookies' favourite. He is taking his Together Together tour back on the road in 2027, wrapping up the North American leg in May before heading to Europe in July, leaving him free for festival appearances in June. A Glastonbury insider told The Sun in 2025 that Emily "has long wanted him on stage at Worthy Farm".
Sam Fender, who played the Pyramid Stage ahead of Billie Eilish in 2022, is another name regularly popping up. His third studio album People Watching won the Mercury Prize last year. With rumours suggesting he is working on a fourth album, next year could see him move from sub-headliner to headliner.
Radiohead are also moving up the lists after announcing 2027 shows in Australia and Japan. The band has headlined the festival three times, most recently in 2017. A 2027 headline show would mark 10 years since their last slot and 30 years since they first topped the bill in 1997, coinciding with the release of OK Computer.
Female headliners expected
At least one female act is expected among the headliners. Emily has spoken about her ambitions to make the festival more gender-balanced, but has admitted female headliners are harder to book. In 2019 she said the pool "isn't big enough", adding: "It's time to nurture female talent. Everyone wants it, everyone's hungry for women, but they're just not there."
In 2024, SZA and Dua Lipa became the first two female headliners in the same year. The 2025 festival was headlined by Olivia Rodrigo. Among the female names heavily rumoured are Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter, neither of whom has played the festival before. Miley Cyrus, who made her Glastonbury debut in 2019, is also mentioned.
Who has been ruled out
Oasis have confirmed their 2027 live tour, but an appearance at Glastonbury has been ruled out. Emily replied to a fan on Instagram who asked "Please say you've got Oasis", saying: "Sorry Jimmy, not this time!" Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher also dashed hopes, telling a follower: "It's not happening."
Madonna has also been ruled out. Speculation grew when she hinted to Graham Norton about a major UK project for summer 2027. But on BBC Radio 4's PM programme in August, Emily said: "It's definitely not Madonna, I'll tell you that."
Rumoured legends slot
Robbie Williams is the current bookies' favourite for the Sunday tea-time legend slot. Next year marks 30 years since his debut album Life Thru A Lens. He is playing Lytham Festival in July, which has previously shared headliners with Glastonbury, including Diana Ross in 2022 and Shania Twain in 2024.
Stevie Wonder is also hoped for after his 2010 headline set, his only Glastonbury appearance. He is touring with his 50th anniversary tour of Songs in the Key of Life, which wraps up at the end of 2026. Tears For Fears, who are local to Somerset but have never played the festival, are another possibility after announcing live shows for summer 2027.
The full line-up is due in the spring, with hundreds of acts expected. Fan website The Glastonbury Thingy has noted Alex Warren, Sombr and Hayley Williams of Paramore as having 'Glastonbury-shaped holes' in their schedules. Tame Impala, The Chemical Brothers, Noah Kahan and Suki Waterhouse are also among names suggested by fans.
