Mixed Reactions to the Direct
Reader Xane expressed surprise at the quality of the September Direct, particularly highlighting Metroid Ravenous and the new Kirby game. "I was surprised by Metroid Ravenous and the new Kirby game," they wrote, adding that Metroid looked "really good" and could help erase the memory of Metroid Prime 4. However, they questioned the lack of big-name titles, noting that two Kirby games have been released before any hint of a new Mario.
