Fortnite fans face a lengthy wait as Epic Games prepares to launch Chapter 7, Season 3, titled Runners. The new season introduces fresh points of interest, a new Battle Pass, weapons, and gameplay features. However, players must endure server downtime before diving into the action.
Downtime begins immediately after the Shattered live event, which pits Team Ice King against Team Foundation. According to Epic Games, servers will go offline at 7:30 PM ET on June 5, which is 12:30 AM BST on June 6 for UK players. The maintenance is scheduled to last five hours and 30 minutes, longer than usual for a new season.
Servers are expected to return at 6 AM BST on June 6 in the UK, 10 PM PT on June 5 on the US West Coast, 1 AM ET on the East Coast, and 7 AM CET in Europe. Once online, players can access the new Battle Pass, featuring skins such as Heatwave PJ, Cluster, Dylan, The Guardian, John Wick (pen and ink), The Voidblade, Vanguard Slone, and Wolfe.
Additional rewards include a customizable Guardian Mech, launch week bonuses like Gold Huntress Dyland and the Marbled Speedboat, John Wick's dog as a Sidekick, the Gunglider, and Dark Cubic Sneakers. Fans are advised to check the Fortnite server status page for updates.
