Fans of Prime Video's hit series Fallout have been buzzing with excitement after a major cast update for Season 3. The streaming giant has confirmed that Manny Jacinto, Emily Mortimer, and Thomasin McKenzie will join the upcoming season, though their roles remain under wraps.
New Additions to the Wasteland
According to Deadline, the three actors have been cast in recurring roles. Manny Jacinto, known for The Good Place and The Acolyte, will appear alongside Emily Mortimer (Doll & Em, Friends) and Thomasin McKenzie (Jojo Rabbit, Last Night in Soho). The show, based on the popular video game franchise, is set in a dystopian world 200 years after a nuclear apocalypse.
Season 2 premiered last year and saw the return of main cast members Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, and Aaron Moten. Amazon had already renewed the series for a third season before Season 2 aired.
Fan Theories Abound
While official details about the characters are scarce, fans have taken to social media to speculate. Some believe the newcomers could portray characters from Fallout: New Vegas, such as Colonel Hsu, Veronica, or Cassidy. Others suggest Emily Mortimer might play a member of the White Glove Society, a cannibalistic casino-running faction from the game.
However, not everyone is convinced. One fan commented, "New characters across the board if I had to guess." This would align with the show's history of introducing original characters, like Lucy, the Ghoul, and Thaddeus, played by Purnell, Goggins, and Moten respectively.
Fallout is streaming on Prime Video.
