Emmerdale's Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) is on a mission to find Jimmy's (Nick Miles) £150,000 before anyone else does. She returned to town after Jimmy's death, claiming to have been in a relationship with the haulage owner for the last three years. But it was all a ruse – she knew Jimmy had hidden money from the sale of the haulage and flew into Emmerdale to claim her share.
Nicola close to the truth
Nicola still believes Sadie's lies, although she is close to the truth, having discovered voicemails on Jimmy's laptop that, if she listens to them, might reveal Jimmy is innocent. Sadie's only focus is getting her hands on the money, but so far she has had little success.
Ex-lover Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) invited himself on the hunt for the cash through blackmail, but secretly Sadie was glad as she had no idea where to start looking. It took her far too long to even consider searching the depot. Robert could be considered the brains of the outfit, though Sadie has no idea he plans to betray her too.
A break at the funeral
Sadie overhears Nicola talking about the voicemails and panics, and Robert tells her she needs to get them deleted, triggering a scramble to break back into Nicola's and find the laptop. Sadie is caught by Rodney and has to spin yet another lie.
But they are about to get their break on the day of Jimmy's funeral, when Carl finds a mysterious key at the scrapyard and Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) recognises it as a locker key from the golf club. Nicola gets a call from the club in earshot of Sadie, and she and Robert down tools to get over there before Nicola realises what's going on.
Race to the locker
The pair are convinced the cash is stashed in the locker, and they do make it there first, but they are forced to hide when Nicola and Rodney show up right behind them. Who will get to it first? And will Nicola discover Sadie's lies too late?
