Joel Marshall's fate hangs in the balance after he was found unconscious and alone in Wednesday's episode of EastEnders, following a revenge plot by the Square's teens.
Teens take revenge on Joel
Joel, who horrified residents last year with misogynistic views, was jailed earlier this year for attacking his stepmum Vicki Fowler and filming sex with Avani Nandra-Hart without consent. After his release, his mother Cleo brought him to Walford, sparking outrage from Vicki and Avani.
Determined to teach Joel a lesson, Amy Mitchell and Avani invited him to an end-of-term party. Joined by Denzel Danes, Nugget, Lily, Ricky, and Barney, they tied Joel to a fence, soaked him in beer, and filmed the humiliation. Joel was left locked up for 45 minutes before Will and Barney convinced the others to check on him.
Joel found attacked
When the teens returned, they found Joel had been untied and attacked, leaving him unconscious. The episode ends with the question of whether Joel is dead and who is responsible.
