EA FC 26 Glory Hunters Team 2: Leaks, Date & Content

EA Sports FC 26's Glory Hunters Team 2 is set to launch on Friday, July 3, at 6pm BST (10am PDT, 1pm EDT), bringing a host of high-rated player items to Ultimate Team. The promo, which highlights players who have excelled in tournament knockouts both past and present, continues the PlayStyle+ customisation feature introduced during the Festival of Football event. Unlike standard PlayStyle+ items, Glory Hunters cards allow players to add a fourth PlayStyle+ via objectives and Squad Building Challenges (SBCs).

Confirmed and Leaked Players

EA Sports has officially confirmed three players for Glory Hunters Team 2 through the FUT menu screen: Erling Haaland (Norway), Nuno Mendes (Portugal), and Declan Rice (England). According to prominent leaker FUT Police, the team is headlined by a 97-rated Mo Salah card, alongside eight 97 overall-rated items. Other expected players include:

  • CB: Gabriel (Brazil) – 96 OVR
  • LB: Theo Hernandez (France) – 97 OVR
  • CAM: Nico Paz (Argentina) – 94 OVR
  • LM: Nico Williams (Spain) – 96 OVR
  • ST: Julian Alvarez (Argentina) – 97 OVR

A 97-rated LW card for Son Heung-Min has also been leaked, though some insiders have disputed his inclusion. Players who have not yet obtained Glory Hunters Team 1 cards, including Lionel Messi, Virgil van Dijk, and Bruno Fernandes, must act quickly as those items will no longer be available in packs after the Team 2 launch.

New Content and Events

Alongside the new player items, EA Sports has announced several live events and objectives. The Knockout Glory Tournament begins at 6pm BST on July 3, with a first phase that chains into Knockout Glory Tournament 2. Players must complete objectives—likely winning the tournament—to qualify for the second event. Entries refresh daily, offering five attempts every 24 hours.

The Journey of Nations objectives will release its final segment (Europe) at 6pm BST, with all segments remaining active. Completing these objectives rewards players with National Pride player items, including:

  • GK: Jordan Pickford (England) – 93 OVR
  • RB: Matheus Nunes (Portugal) – 94 OVR
  • CDM: Kenny McLean (Scotland) – 93 OVR
  • CM: Manu Kone (France) – 93 OVR
  • CAM: Morgan Rogers (England) – 94 OVR
  • CAM: Fermin Lopez (Spain) – 94 OVR
  • ST: Memphis Depay (Netherlands) – 94 OVR

Players who complete all objectives earn a 95-rated Journey of Nations Gerd Muller card, which then unlocks the ultimate reward: a 97-rated Diego Maradona card with five PlayStyle+ boosts.

Additional Updates

EA Sports has confirmed that no further Showdown player items will be released via SBCs, as the six items tied to key World Cup knockout matches have already been fulfilled during week one. More Evolutions are planned throughout the week. Following the conclusion of the World Cup Round of 32, new Star Performer cards are expected, celebrating standout performances from the knockout stage. Potential candidates include Harry Kane, Youri Tielemans, and Paraguay's penalty shoot-out hero Jose Canale.
