Disney Dreamlight Valley's Pixel Perfect update is now live on PlayStation, Xbox, mobile, and PC as of July 29. The update introduces Wreck-It Ralph as a new character. To unlock Ralph, players must first unlock The Forgotten and Peter Pan and complete the quest 'The Music on the Wall.'
How to Unlock Wreck-It Ralph
Players investigate a glitchy arcade machine near the Dream Castle, which appears several times before ending up in Vanellope's home. They must search the Valley for pies, root beer, and bricks to repair the arcade and set up a beacon to free Ralph. Once Ralph is in the Valley, players help him conduct a Bad-Anon meeting, reconnect with Vanellope, make new friends, wreck some mayhem, and fix it to unlock rewards.
New Events and Items
The update brings the Pop City Star Path, featuring luminous stage pieces, concert attires, a feline companion, and outfits inspired by Marie and Berlioz from Disney's Aristocats. The Summer Sizzle event returns from August 5 to August 18, where players collect marshmallows, share smores, and complete daily quests to unlock the first ever dock building. The Parks Floating Festival runs from August 19 to September 8, offering a thematic floating island with weekly puzzles and magical rewards. From September 16 to September 29, the Memory Mania event returns with new quests alongside Joy from Disney's Inside Out, rewarding a new companion.
The Premium Shop introduces the Deluxe Tropical Valley Bundle with vibrant looks for the Plaza, Dream Castle, Daisy's Boutique, Chez Remy's, Scrooge's Store, and Valley Visit Station. A new Environmental Effects item, the Meteor Shower Sky, fills the sky with cosmic showers. Additional items include the Village Schoolhouse Skin, Village Schoolyard Kit, Scholarly Owl companion, and Fantasia Broomstick companion. Premade Presets are now available for select bundles. Scrooge McDuck's Store will offer new weekly items such as the Pink Leopard Tank Top, Dreamlight Varsity Jacket, Artist's Overalls, Enchanted Castle Tuxedo, and Crimson Wayfinder Patterned Skirt. Seasonal Moonstone packs are also available for a limited time.
Bug Fixes
The update addresses several issues. Players who did not receive a Vault Furniture Reward during Week 5 of the Godly Glamor Star Path will now be eligible. The Honeyglow Woods Early Adopter Bonus issue is acknowledged. Various quest bugs in Honeyglow Woods adventure pack have been fixed, including missing shopping lists, missing Eeyore, early flagpole interaction, green chest rewards, Ancient Vacuum progression blocks, flower respawn rates, and interaction difficulties. Other fixes include issues with the Butterfly Key disappearing, Hercules becoming stuck, Purple Fruit spawning, Merlin's dialogue loops, Lost and Found messages, furniture placement on Lava Stone Trail and Crystal Paving Stones, dismissing reward screens with Esc or gamepad, and NPC control in photo mode in Mythopia.
