Bloober Team, the developer behind the acclaimed remake of Silent Hill 2, has confirmed the UK release time for its upcoming horror game, Cronos: The New Dawn. The game will launch at 3pm BST on Friday, 5th September 2025, as announced by the studio via Twitter.
Cronos: The New Dawn marks a return to original storytelling for Bloober Team, following the success of its Silent Hill 2 remake. Players take on the role of The Traveller, navigating a time-bending journey through a beast-ridden Krakow. The game promises a blend of psychological horror and action, drawing comparisons to the Resident Evil 4 remake.
This release comes amid a busy period for horror fans, with titles such as Hell Is Us and Hollow Knight: Silksong also launching around the same time. Nevertheless, Cronos: The New Dawn aims to carve its own niche, offering a fresh IP from a studio known for its atmospheric and terrifying experiences.
Players eager for more details can expect a full AAA horror experience that combines Bloober Team's signature style with innovative mechanics. The game will be available on PC and consoles, with pre-orders now open for those who wish to secure their copy ahead of launch.
