Crimson Desert Surprise Update Fixes Bugs and Boosts Rating

Developer Pearl Abyss has released a surprise new update for Crimson Desert, available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The patch continues to improve and fix the massive open-world game, addressing issues such as an NPC lantern bug and a problem where Thornbriar Fortress could not be liberated.

Patch Fixes and Improvements

According to the patch notes, the update solves an annoying issue where some items would disappear from the Trade Goods Storage when loading certain save files. It also fixes a problem where chaining "Descending Force Palm" after "Aerial Force Palm" did not function properly in certain situations.

Other fixes include housing not becoming available when raising the banner at Howling Hill Camp with a full inventory, and a letter disappearing during "The Words of Alustin" quest, preventing progression. The update also addresses UI text shaking, a crash when starting a new game with DLSS Frame Generation enabled, visual noise on armor indoors, and unnatural appearances when wearing the Crow Cloth Blindfold with certain settings.
