Corrie: Dinner Party Bloodshed Reveals Theo Silverton Killer

Coronation Street spoilers have confirmed what lies ahead for Sarah Platt and Gary Windass amidst a mysterious storyline that culminates in a dinner party ending in bloodshed. The long-awaited revelation of who killed Theo Silverton is set to unfold in a dramatic feature-length episode.

Gary Windass Remains Prime Suspect

Gary Windass, portrayed by Mikey North, is currently the main suspect in the investigation into Theo Silverton's murder. The builder has been behaving erratically, especially around his former girlfriend, Sarah Platt, played by Tina O'Brien. The ex-couple have been spotted having whispered conversations about the evening of Theo's death, with their families noticing shifts in their behavior.

The secrecy continued this week, with Gary's wife, Maria Connor, portrayed by Samia Longchambon, even questioning whether the pair have been having an affair behind her back. Maria questioned Sarah's best friend, Todd Grimshaw, about whether he had spotted any strange behavior, which he denied. He subsequently raised the matter with Sarah directly, who immediately burst into tears.

Exclusive Preview on This Morning

More details about the storyline emerged on Wednesday's This Morning. Soap expert Sharon Marshall discussed the plot with presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard and revealed an exclusive clip from forthcoming episodes. Sharon said: "The other big story of the week, of course, was Sarah and Gary, and everybody, well, Maria, thinking they are having an affair. Are they? Is it all a bit obvious? Is it all a red herring? Is it something to do with a murder?"

A spoiler clip of Maria sharing her suspicions with Izzy Armstrong was then aired. Back in the studio, Sharon confirmed that the killer's identity will be exposed next week, alongside a "dinner party from hell."

The Dinner Party from Hell

Sharon explained: "So you've got Maria, Sarah, Gary, and Kit. Kit's planning to propose to Sarah. Sarah's been accused of having an affair with Gary, and Maria's suspecting everything. It's gonna be a series of flashbacks, and we will find out the truth... We're gonna find out who killed Theo, finally, because there's flashbacks."

She added: "We will know as the audience, but the people on the street actually won't, but we will get answers. But the evening will end with blood splattered across the table, so that's coming up as well. It's all going on!"

Feature-Length Episode to Air

The long-awaited murder mystery will finally be resolved in a feature-length episode airing on Monday, June 22, with secrets and lies coming to a head at the explosive dinner party. An insider told Digital Spy: "Kit interrupts Sarah's clandestine conversation and spontaneously invites Gary and Maria to the meal. Sarah and Gary squirm, but Maria - who is equally suspicious of her husband's recent behavior - quickly accepts. Calculating Kit clearly has an agenda in getting the tense group round the table. This has disaster written all over it!"

What have Sarah and Gary been hiding, and could it be connected to Theo's murder? It won't be long before all is revealed. Coronation Street airs weekday nights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
