Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Season 6 will launch on Thursday, September 17, at 5pm BST (9am PT) across all platforms, bringing back the popular Warzone event The Haunting. The seasonal update introduces Halloween-themed cosmic horrors and dark fantasy elements, alongside a crossover with the iconic DOOM franchise.
Haunted Hollow and Operation Grave Rot
During Season 6, the Haven's Hollow map will be transformed into Haunted Hollow as part of Operation Grave Rot. Eldritchian tentacles will loom in the sky as points of interest undergo gruesome changes, including a burning Lumbermill and a vortex in the Mansion foyer.
A mysterious Ghost Train will travel through Haunted Hollow, enticing players to solve the puzzle of returning it to physical reality. High-tier loot is the reward for completing this challenge.
Giant Infected mode and DOOM crossover
The Giant Infected limited-time mode will feature 64 players split between survivors and infected. Eight players start as zombies hunting down survivors, who must construct, arm, and detonate a DNA bomb before time runs out.
A crossover with DOOM includes themed skins, weapons, and more on the free track of the event pass. The Doom Slayer arrives as an operator, with the classic 'Doom Guy' skin available on the Premium Track.
New maps and operators
Danny 'Blackjack' Li joins as a new Guild Operator via the Season 6 Battle Pass. Two new medium 6v6 maps, Quantum and Bloodstead, are joined by TEDD Trials Maps, which bring Zombies locations into 6v6 multiplayer modes. Roadkill, Inferno, and Lost—inspired by Zombies maps—offer new options for 12-player matches.
New weapons, attachments, and features arrive on the Zombies and Tenshu maps. Players who complete every Main Quest across all Round-Based Zombies maps unlock secret rewards, including The Warden as a playable Operator.
