Clarkson's Farm enthusiasts are clamouring for news about the programme's future following the arrival of the final two episodes of series five on Prime Video. The current series was divided into three parts, with Episodes 7 and 8 having just dropped on 17th June, revealing yet more arduous challenges facing Jeremy Clarkson and the Diddly Squat team.
In Episode 7, matters took a sombre turn as, with harvest approaching, the farm was hit by some heartbreaking news when Jeremy revealed he had cancer. Meanwhile, Jeremy Clarkson occupied himself with a project close to his heart — safeguarding local bird populations — which sparked a disagreement with Kaleb Cooper.
Here is everything you need to know about whether the series will return for a sixth instalment after Clarkson's devastating news shook the farm.
Has Clarkson's Farm been renewed for season 6?
At the time of writing, Clarkson's Farm has not been officially recommissioned by Prime Video, with the streaming service yet to make a formal declaration regarding the show's future. However, back in February 2026, Clarkson himself disclosed that some filming for a new series had already commenced, but needed to be temporarily suspended.
Writing in his column for The Sunday Times, Clarkson explained that filming had been halted owing to Oxfordshire weather conditions. He wrote: "On the face of it, I'm a busy man. I have a television show to make about the farm I run," later adding: "There's no filming happening on the farm at the moment. Or farming. It hasn't stopped raining since the beginning of the year, so I can't plant anything, and I can't do anything with my cows either because we are still locked down by TB."
What happened in Clarkson's Farm season 5 episode 7?
Episode 7 laid bare the devastating TB diagnosis at the farm, which first emerged in July 2025. In a post on X, the former Top Gear host revealed that everyone was "absolutely devastated". He subsequently disclosed that the infected cow was "pregnant with twins".
Clarkson has previously spoken candidly about his long-term vision for Clarkson's Farm, revealing he had "ideas" for a sixth series, but would call it a day once his inspiration dried up. With this in mind, it appears encouraging that Clarkson himself is eager for a sixth series to proceed, though ultimately it is down to Prime Video to give the green light.
Reach contacted Prime Video for an update on whether a new series has been commissioned. One thing remains certain — the phenomenal popularity of Clarkson's Farm shows absolutely no sign of waning.
