A cat owner has baffled the internet with a video of her Christmas tree that doubles as an optical illusion. The tree, decorated in white and silver with oversized satin bows and baubles, hides her black cat so well that viewers are challenged to spot it before an ornament falls off.
The TikTok user, known as @TikTokThePark, filmed the tree as it shook slightly, giving away the cat's presence. She captioned the video “spot the cat” and asked followers to find the feline in under nine seconds, claiming those who succeed have laser-sharp vision.
Many viewers were distracted by the shaking ornaments, but the cat is actually hidden in the centre of the tree. One commenter said “Silly kitty!” after watching an ornament fall to the ground. The video has since gone viral, with many impressed by the tree's decoration.
