Stockport-based band Blossoms have announced a special intimate one-off performance in Manchester next week, shortly after the announcement of their sixth studio album.
Performance details
The Greater Manchester band are set to release Songs From The Wedding Cake on October 2, 2026, before they perform at arenas across the UK across seven nights at the end of this year. But before embarking on the biggest headline tour of their career, the band will treat fans to an intimate hometown show at Manchester's iconic Deaf Institute on Wednesday, August 5.
The one-off performance will mark ten years since the release of the band's Mercury Prize-nominated self-titled debut album, and will see the band's return to one of Manchester's most beloved independent venues ahead of their upcoming UK arena tour.
Ticket information
Fans can access an exclusive pre-sale by pre-ordering Songs From The Wedding Cake in any format from the band's website. Those who have already pre-ordered the album will automatically qualify and receive a pre-sale code via email. The presale commences at 9:30am on Thursday, July 30, with a general sale following at 9:30am on Friday, July 31.
For those who miss out on this gig, tickets are still available for Blossoms' second performance at Manchester Co-op Live on December 11.
Venue capacity
Manchester Deaf Institute has a small capacity of around 250 for gigs, meaning only a select number of fans will be successful in purchasing tickets for the intimate event.
