Activision has announced an extension to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 open beta, which is currently available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Originally scheduled to end on October 8, the test will now run until 5pm BST on October 9.
In a statement on the Call of Duty website, Activision said: 'The reaction to the Black Ops 7 Beta so far has been awesome to see! ... we heard you might want a little more, so we’re extending the Black Ops 7 Beta to 9am PT on Thursday, October 9.'
The beta includes multiple playlists such as Open Moshpit, Moshpit, Open Hardcore Moshpit, and Open Search and Destroy. Fans can play on maps including Toshin, The Forge, Cortex, Exposure, Imprint, and Blackheart, as well as the Vandorn Farm map in Zombies Survival mode.
Game modes available include Team Deathmatch, Hardcore Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Overload, Search and Destroy, and Training Course. The early access beta features 20 levels of unlocks, with rewards such as emblems, emotes, stickers, weapon charms, and operator skins.
Additional rewards will be unlocked during the open beta when the level cap rises, including calling cards, loading screens, and weapon blueprints. The full release of Black Ops 7 is confirmed to follow the beta period.
