Barbara's Bier Haus, an apres ski party bar known for its disco toilets and gondola ski lift, is set to open in Newcastle by the end of the year. The venue will replace Revolución de Cuba on the Cloth Market, which closes this Saturday, September 26.
Revolución de Cuba's Final Fiesta
Revolución de Cuba opened in Newcastle city centre in 2018 and became a popular spot for its South American decor, cocktails, live music and bottomless brunches. The bar also hosted themed events for dogs and rooftop parties with local promoters Platform 47, who had a queue down the street for their New Year's Eve event.
NEOS Hospitality confirmed the closure, and the bar invited customers to 'one final fiesta' at the weekend via social media. After the last drink is poured, the venue will undergo a major transformation into Barbara's Bier Haus.

Barbara's Bier Haus has already attracted large crowds in Birmingham, Bristol and Southampton. The Newcastle venue will feature interactive touches including disco toilets, a gondola ski lift, a karaoke room and live music, creating a high-energy destination for after-work drinks, celebrations and big nights out.
