Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will launch on 9 July 2026. The remastered title will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, with a staggered release for PC users.
The game will unlock at midnight local time on consoles, while PC players can expect regional launch windows. The file size is confirmed at 65GB, a relatively modest figure compared to many recent triple-A releases.
Pre-orders are now live, with a bonus 'Blackbeard's Crimson Pack' offering exclusive cosmetic items and perks (details undisclosed). Three editions are available: Standard, Deluxe, and Collector's, each with varying content and price points.
The Deluxe Edition includes additional in-game bonuses, while the Collector's Edition offers physical collectibles. Ubisoft's decision to launch ahead of Grand Theft Auto 6 (due November 2026) suggests a strategic window to capture player attention.
No Nintendo Switch 2 version has been announced, though a port may be considered given Ubisoft's multiplatform approach. The original Black Flag remains a fan favourite, and this enhanced version aims to build on its legacy.
