EA has announced a limited-time crossover event between Apex Legends and CD Projekt RED's Cyberpunk 2077, set to begin on July 14, 2026. The event will introduce a redesigned E-District map inspired by Night City, new Cyberware mods for the Wildcard mode, and a host of cosmetic items.
Event Content and Features
The E-District map will be overhauled with neon lights and holographic koi fish floating through the sky, closely resembling the aesthetic of Cyberpunk 2077's Night City. Players can explore this redesigned environment during the event period.
A new Wildcard event will introduce two Cyberware-inspired mods, as described in an EA press release:
- Sandevistan: Wired for speed, granting quick dashes in any direction. Players can chain two dashes before touching ground to close gaps or escape danger.
- Blackwall Breach: Phases the player into the Net to reposition, then unleashes a disruptive EMP upon return.
A new mechanic called Cyberpsycho will also be available in Wildcard. As players equip more mods, a meter fills up. When maxed, the player gains faster movement speed and massive melee damage but cannot use weapons, shields, or abilities. Immunoblocker Syringes found around the map can keep the Cyberpsycho meter under control.
Cosmetic Items
The event will feature a Mythic Alternator skin modeled after the iconic Skippy weapon from Cyberpunk 2077, an Arasaka Epic Valkyrie Skin, and a Kang-Tao Epic Mirage Skin. Additional cosmetics are expected for Legends such as Axle, Sparrow, Lifeline, Crypto, Rampart, Loba, and Ash. Weapons receiving new skins include Gibraltar, Wingman, Charge Rifle, Mastiff, L-STAR, P2020, RE-45, R-301, and Kraber. EA has teased that more content will be revealed next week.
Event Start Date and Time
The Apex Legends x Cyberpunk 2077 limited-time event begins on July 14, 2026, across all platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and last-gen consoles. While an exact start time has not been confirmed, Apex Legends events typically go live at 6pm BST, so the crossover is expected to launch at that time.
