Free Comic Con returns to Livingston Designer Outlet next weekend
Free Comic Con returns to Livingston Designer Outlet

Comic Con Part 2 will return to Livingston Designer Outlet from Saturday August 29 to Sunday August 30 2026, running from 10am to 5pm on both days. The free event follows the success of the first Comic Con held at the shopping centre in June.

What to expect at the event

The event will again showcase the cosplay, characters, collectibles, gaming and family-friendly entertainment that proved popular with visitors of all ages. Specialist traders will stock everything from comics and collectibles to artwork, toys and merchandise.

Visitors can look forward to character meet-and-greets and cosplay, as well as movie props, themed displays, gaming experiences and entertainment throughout the day.

New addition: Rocket Card Show

For Part 2, Livingston Designer Outlet is unveiling an exciting new addition to the line-up, with Rocket Card Show making its Livingston debut. Capitalising on the surging popularity of trading card collecting, Rocket Card Show will offer visitors the opportunity to buy, sell and trade a vast selection of Trading Card Games (TCGs).

These include Pokémon, Disney Lorcana and Yu-Gi-Oh! along with many more. Whether attendees are experienced collectors hunting for their next card, competitive players, families already immersed in the hobby or complete beginners eager to discover what it's all about, the show will cater for every level of competence.

Donations and future events

While the event is free, guests are invited to choose optional donation tickets and can give a minimum of a £1 donation to help fund future comic cons at the shopping centre.

Michelle Whitelaw, Centre Director at Livingston Designer Outlet, said: "We were delighted by the response to our first Comic Con, which saw a brilliant turnout of fans and family alike to the centre, creating a fantastic atmosphere throughout the weekend."

"We know how much our visitors enjoyed the event, so we're really pleased to be bringing it back by popular demand - and making Part 2 even bigger."

"The addition of Rocket Card Show gives visitors something completely new to experience and opens the event up to the growing community of trading card fans too."

"We hope to welcome back plenty of familiar faces as well as those experiencing Comic Con at the outlet for the first time."
