The Big Welsh Bite Food and Drink Festival returned to Pontypridd this weekend, drawing crowds to Ynyshangharad Memorial Park on Saturday and Sunday. More than 100 vendors served up a wide range of dishes, from street food to farm-fresh produce, as visitors made the most of the summer sunshine.
Artisan treats, culinary crafts and free entertainment were all on offer, with the event suiting families and foodies alike. Traders at this year's festival included renowned names such as The Hungry Cowboy, Keralan Karavan, Hoggets Hog Roast and Dirty Gnocchi.
Music, demonstrations and fun fair
Beyond the food stalls, the weekend programme featured live music performances, cookery demonstrations, street dance performances and the Big Welsh Bite Fun Fair. The festival, which was first held in 2003, saw hundreds of people settle onto picnic blankets across the park.
Festival-goers were treated to a variety of cuisines, with Greek food among the options, plus burgers hot off the barbecue and a well-loved hot dog stand. Pets were also spotted enjoying the day out, and the sunny weather made it ideal for a snow cone.
