Zoe Saldana used the Ziip Halo microcurrent device ahead of her 2026 Oscars appearance to achieve a sculpted, contoured look. Her makeup artist Vera Steimberg shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse on Instagram, showing how the ZIIP HALO 2.0 All In One Microcurrent Facial Device was used to tighten and lift the 47-year-old actress's skin before makeup application.

The device, which costs £379.99, uses electrical microcurrents to lift, tighten, and brighten the skin. It comes with an app that allows users to create personalised treatments, following guided directions for a clinic-grade facial at home. The treatments were designed by electrical esthetician Melanie Simon.

Steimberg credited the device for Saldana's radiant complexion, captioning her post: 'Glow courtesy of Ziip.' The ZIIP HALO 2.0 is a favourite among celebrities including Margot Robbie, Jennifer Aniston, and Gillian Anderson.

Beauty fans have also praised the device. One user said: 'I have never gotten this type of chisel from gua sha. My skin is smoother and feels more lifted. The treatments are quick and effective, I do the instant facelift one and it’s 6 minutes to get snatched.' Another added: 'As a 60 year old ex beauty therapist... it's been a game changer.'

For those on a budget, alternatives include the NuFACE Mini+ Starter Kit (£244), Geske's 6-in1 MicroCurrent Face Lifter (£49.95), and Silk'n's LED EMS Face Mask (£299.99).
