Boxer Tyson Fury has sold his seaside home in Morecambe for £700,000, below the original asking price of £800,000. The six-bedroom property, which overlooks Morecambe Bay, was purchased by Fury and his wife Paris for £480,000 in 2015 and has now been sold subject to contract, according to Rightmove.
The house is one of two properties the couple own in the area. Despite moving to a £1.7 million mansion in Morecambe in 2020, they kept the home as part of their property portfolio. Fury has previously praised the seaside resort, saying he would never leave Morecambe for places like California.
Earlier this month, the couple renewed their wedding vows for a second time at a church in the South of France. Their seven children attended the ceremony. However, on the return journey, their private plane had to make an emergency landing due to a technical problem, which Fury described as terrifying.
Fury announced his retirement from boxing earlier this year after back-to-back defeats by Oleksandr Usyk, but has since posted photos of himself back in training and has been linked with a return to the ring. He has said he would only come back for a third bout with Usyk.
