A 41-year-old mother who is often mistaken for a 25-year-old has revealed the skincare products she credits for her youthful appearance. Amber Lancaster, who was born in 1980, regularly shares fashion and beauty videos online, but many viewers are distracted by her flawless skin and youthful face.
In a video captioned “Four skincare products I love and swear by”, Lancaster began by holding up a tube of tretinoin, a prescription-only cream. She said: “I've been using it for 15 years and it’s literally changed my skin. I'm 41 years old and I credit this little tube right here. It stimulated collagen production, it’s like the number one ingredient that’s scientifically proven to change your skin.”
Her second favourite product is SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Antioxidant Vitamin C Serum, which she uses in the morning to brighten her skin. She also uses Ponds Dry Skin Facial Moisturiser at night and Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream for lips, cuticles, hands and heels.
When a commenter asked about lifestyle habits, Lancaster admitted: “I also get Botox on my forehead and crows feet!” Many viewers were astonished by her age, with one writing: “I can’t believe you’re 41. You look so good!” Another said: “I thought you were 25 until you said you're 41. Amazing!”
