The gown, which featured a low neckline and lace detailing, cinched at the waist and flared to the ankles, with a thigh-high split. Sweeney paired the dress with lace-covered stilettos, adding a unique touch to her bridal look. She accessorised with simple pearl earrings and neutral makeup, accented with white eyeliner.
Sweeney was joined on the red carpet by director Michael Mohan and cast members Benedetta Porcaroli, Simona Tabasco, and Alvaro Morte. Tabasco, who previously worked with Sweeney on 'The White Lotus', wore a textured black blazer with a white collar, black stilettos, and bold red lipstick.
'Immaculate' sees Sweeney in a darker role as Cecilia, a nun who moves to an Italian convent and discovers sinister secrets. The film premiered at the festival.
