Rita Ora has treated her followers to an intimate glimpse of her glamorous and high-spirited evening at the 2025 Fashion Awards. The singer and her husband, director Taika Waititi, joined a constellation of celebrities for the UK's most prestigious fashion event, followed by an exclusive afterparty.
A Show-Stopping Entrance on the Red Carpet
The 35-year-old pop star ensured all eyes were on her as she arrived at London's Royal Albert Hall. She wore a breathtaking silver gown designed by Haider Ackermann for Tom Ford, which featured an audacious plunging neckline and a dramatic thigh-high split. Her husband, 50-year-old Waititi, complemented her look in a cream blazer and black trousers, with his shirt casually half-unbuttoned.
In a series of Instagram posts the following day, Ora documented the entire evening. She shared preparatory shots of her hair and makeup, alongside numerous images and videos from inside the glitzy ceremony and the subsequent A-list afterparty at The Chancery Rosewood in Mayfair.
Rubbing Shoulders with Fashion and Music Royalty
Inside the awards, Ora was seated at a star-studded table next to Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger, 82, and his fiancée Melanie Hamrick, 38, as well as former British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful. One video captured her leading a round of applause for the rock icon, with whom she also posed for a picture.
The afterparty saw the songstress quickly grab a drink and sample a slider, before braving the winter chill in her revealing outfit for a cigarette break outside. She mingled with a host of famous faces, including model Alexa Chung, British Vogue's Olivia Singer, Alexander McQueen's Seán McGirr, and rapper Little Simz, who won the Cultural Innovator Award. Other party guests included actors Colman Domingo, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Nina Dobrev.
An "Extra Special Date Night" Continues at the Hotel
The couple's night was far from over after the bash. Playful videos showed them heading back to their hotel, with Ora filming a slow-motion clip of Waititi walking ahead. Once in their room, she posed for a series of sultry shots on the bed, still wearing her stunning gown and blue heels.
In her caption, she thanked designer Haider Ackermann for making her and Taika "feel so sexy" and called the evening an "extra special date night." She also expressed gratitude to Edward Enninful and the British Fashion Council for hosting a night that celebrated the future of British fashion.
The annual Fashion Awards, considered a cornerstone of the fashion calendar, returned to the Royal Albert Hall. The 2025 ceremony was hosted by actor Colman Domingo, who wore Burberry in a nod to British heritage. The event honours leading figures and emerging talent from across the global fashion industry.
