Poppy Delevingne and model Jade Parfitt are set to take centre stage at this year's Triumph Inspiration Award, a global competition aimed at discovering emerging lingerie designers. Delevingne will join marieclaire.co.uk's Helen Russell on the judging panel, with Parfitt hosting the UK final in London.
The competition invites fashion students from 31 countries to design lingerie based on the theme 'Dragons and Butterflies'. National heats will culminate in an international final in Shanghai on 19 October, where the winning design will be turned into a commercial collection sold worldwide.
The UK final takes place tomorrow evening at London's Century club. Alongside Delevingne and Russell, the judging panel includes designers Daniela and Annette Felder of Felder & Felder, and British Fashion Council chief Caroline Rush. The public can also vote online for their favourite design.
Previous winners of the award have gone on to work with prestigious fashion houses such as John Galliano and Miu Miu, highlighting the competition's role as a launchpad for emerging talent in the lingerie industry.
