The actress wore a navy cardigan buttoned at the center to reveal her midriff and a lace bralette, paired with matching knit trousers. She accessorised with a diamond necklace featuring Chanel's camellia flower, a mini black flap bag, and black-and-white heeled slingbacks, completing the look with a side braid and red lipstick.
The event, dedicated to Chanel's watches and fine jewellery, drew a star-studded crowd including Elizabeth Olsen, Rachel Brosnahan, Lori Harvey, Dianna Agron, Carey Mulligan, and Michelle Williams. Holmes' stylist, Brie Welch, who previously went viral for the actress's Y2K-inspired dress-over-jeans look in 2022, curated the ensemble.
The Chanel opening marks the start of New York Fashion Week, running from February 9 to 11. The fashion month will continue in London (February 16–20), Milan (February 20–26), and Paris (February 26–March 5), showcasing Fall/Winter 2024 collections.
