Louise Redknapp turned heads at the 2025 Fashion Awards on Monday night, wearing a daring sheer black lace gown that left little to the imagination. The 51-year-old Eternal singer arrived at the Royal Albert Hall in London in a skin-tight, long-sleeved dress with a high neckline, completely covered in floral lace details. She wore black underwear beneath the dress and accessorised with chunky gold bangles and matching statement earrings, styling her blonde 'lob' in a side part.
This is not the first time Redknapp has embraced the lace trend. She wore a similar sheer black lace top by Valentino over a black bra to the Rolling Stone UK Awards on 20 November, pairing it with a classic black pencil skirt from Lanvin and Jimmy Choo boots.
In a 2021 interview with HELLO!, Redknapp discussed her style philosophy, advocating for a capsule wardrobe. 'I'm a big believer in a capsule wardrobe and ten key pieces you can mix and match and wear time and time again,' she said. She emphasised the need for durable, versatile items suitable for school runs, lunch, and dinner.
Redknapp also shared her wardrobe staple in a 2022 interview: 'There is nothing more important in your wardrobe than a classic white shirt. I think a classic white shirt is so timeless but it’s all about the shape.' For date nights, she advised comfort and understatement, saying, 'I always recommend being comfy, wear something that you know works for you. Personally, I would never go too over the top or get too dressed up.'
The Fashion Awards red carpet also featured Outlander's Caitriona Balfe in a little black dress with leather opera gloves, and Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden with her daughter Lexi, both in black gowns.
