The Duchess of Cambridge is known for her impeccable fashion sense, blending high street finds with designer pieces. This autumn, she has embraced the mini bag trend, favouring compact styles from brands like Strathberry, DeMellier, and Aspinal of London.
During a recent visit to Scarborough, Kate was spotted with the DeMellier 'Nano Montreal' bag in toffee. Priced at £295, this modern triangular design features a tubular rigid top handle and is available in a small 'nano' version. She first carried this bag in May 2021 ahead of the launch of her Hold Still photography book.
Another favourite is the Aspinal of London Midi Mayfair Bag, which Kate first carried in black croc print during a 2018 visit to Leicester. She later repurchased it in lilac. The structured bag, originally £595 but now reduced to £476, features three inner compartments and a shield lock clasp.
For formal occasions, Kate has chosen the Strathberry 'Multrees Chain Wallet' in navy. She wore it during a royal tour of Scotland and again at Trooping the Colour in June 2022. Priced at £275, the clutch includes a chain strap for cross-body wear.
These mini bags showcase Kate's ability to adopt trends subtly, offering versatile options for work and leisure. Each style is available to purchase online, with prices ranging from £275 to £595.
