Fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger and his wife Dee have opened the doors to their Palm Beach mansion, Coral House, featuring an underground tunnel to the beach. The couple, married since 2008, share the home on Billionaires' Row in an exclusive interview with HELLO! magazine.
The 74-year-old founder of the Tommy Hilfiger brand and Dee, 58, a former model and creative director of Judith Leiber, purchased the property in 2021. Originally built in 1972 by architect John Volk, the house was once owned by media magnate Conrad Black. The renovation took three years and is described by Tommy as the most challenging of their many home projects.
Coral House includes coral stone exteriors, arched windows, and views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Inside, the couple's style blends Tommy's all-American aesthetic with artworks by Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Dee notes, 'We wanted our home to feel calm, but still full of character.'
The Hilfigers have seven children between them, including son Sebastian, now 16. Their new book, Hilfiger Homes, chronicles seven of their residences, from a Manhattan duplex at The Plaza Hotel to homes in Connecticut and Mustique. Dee says, 'Whenever we buy a house, it represents a different moment in our lives.'
