TV personality GK Barry has shared her red carpet beauty secret ahead of the 2026 Brit Awards, revealing she used a £25 tanning foam to achieve her glow. In an Instagram post, she wrote: “Brit Awards prep is in full force” alongside a photo of the Glowjob Dark-Er You Make Me Foam Tanning Mousse, available at Superdrug.
The 200ml bottle costs £25 and comes in shades including Dark, Dark-er, and Extra Dark. The foam is infused with aloe leaf juice, citric acid, and vitamins A, B5, C and E, which help hydrate and nourish the skin while extending the tan’s longevity without patchiness. Its tropical coconut scent avoids the typical biscuity smell of self-tanners.
The product is particularly suited to pale skin due to its red-based undertone, which prevents the green or orange hues often caused by other tanners. A pink undertone version is also available for cooler skin tones. Users have given the mousse a five-star rating, with one reviewer calling it “the most perfect tan for gingers or pale skin.”
Another pale-skinned user commented: “My natural skin is so pale that it's nearly see through, this tan is gorgeous… my new favourite tan and I've been fake tanning for over 10 years.” A third praised its longevity, saying they were “on day 10 before I thought it was time to scrub off.”
With no negative reviews so far, the Glowjob Tanning Mousse has been hailed as a winner for those with very pale skin, and GK Barry’s red carpet endorsement adds to its appeal.
