George at Asda has introduced a range of swimwear that closely resembles designs from luxury brand Hunza G, but at a fraction of the cost. Hunza G, favoured by celebrities including Kim Kardashian and Dua Lipa, sells its swimsuits and bikinis for between £129 and £195. In contrast, George at Asda's versions start from as little as £13.
The supermarket's new collection includes four Hunza G-inspired items, featuring the brand's signature crinkle fabric and scoop-back designs. Among them is a post-surgery swimsuit priced at £12.80, designed for women recovering from mastectomies or similar procedures. George's swimwear is available in a size range of 8-26, offering greater inclusivity compared to Hunza G's 'one size fits all' policy.
Specific items include an olive-hued piece with padded cups, comparable to Hunza G's Faye crinkle swimsuit, and a square-neck imitation that mirrors the luxury brand's popular design. The square-neck option is available in standard and post-surgery versions, featuring a deep scooped back and high leg cut-outs. Additionally, George offers a bikini with shell detailing instead of Hunza G's classic O-ring, providing a £170 saving.
Another two-piece set with piped edging resembles Hunza G's tyler bikini but includes adjustable straps and an elasticated waist for added comfort. This is not the first time George at Asda has drawn inspiration from high-end fashion, previously offering a puffer coat similar to Ganni styles and affordable homeware replicating Soho Home designs. With demand expected to be high, shoppers are advised to act quickly to secure these affordable finds.
