Claudia Winkleman returns in a striking autumnal outfit in the first look at series two of Celebrity Traitors. The host wore a bold dark wool coat and a flamboyant ruffled blouse from luxury Scottish retailer The House of Bruar.
The series will return to screens soon with 21 celebrities competing for a cash prize of up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice. On Thursday (August 27), the BBC released the first trailer for the new series in a 30-second teaser set in a church.
Claudia's Scottish Highland-Inspired Layers
Claudia told the new line-up of contestants: “A moment of silence for the celebrities gathered today. Thoughts and prayers.”
Her outfit featured her signature Scottish Highland-inspired heritage layers. The Ladies Wool Cashmere College Coat is priced at £375 and is a single-breasted straight-cut coat that falls just below the knee, suitable for casual to formal wear.
Key Pieces and Pricing
The below-knee length is useful in colder months, ideal for layering with a dress or skirt in autumn and winter. With a wool and cashmere blend, the coat is warm, smooth-faced and soft to the touch, with a drape that holds its shape throughout a full day of wear.
Her Ladies Cotton Stretch Ruffle Blouse is priced at £69.95, creating a graceful ruffle ideal for a formal occasion. In a 'crisp cotton' with a hint of elastane for stretch, the blouse features faux mother-of-pearl buttons.
Affordable Alternatives
For a cheaper coat option with a similar aesthetic, Next is selling the Sosandar Black Formal Coat With Gold Buttons for £95. It is described as a 'buy now wear forever' wardrobe staple.
A softer version of the ruffled blouse is available on the H&M website, reduced to £25 down from £44.99.
Among the new contestants are Michael Sheen, Love Island presenter Maya Jama, Miranda Hart, comedian Rob Beckett and The Last Of Us’ Bella Ramsey.
