Kate Moss, Madonna Lead Star-Studded Front Row at Saint Laurent Show as Paris Fashion Week Begins

Paris Fashion Week kicked off with a dazzling start on Monday night as the Saint Laurent womenswear show drew a host of A-list celebrities to its front row. Kate Moss, 50, made a typically glamorous appearance in a thigh-skimming black blazer mini dress, paired with sheer tights and towering stilettos, accompanied by her daughter Lila, 22, who wore a plunging satin blouse and wide-leg trousers.

Madonna, 66, also made a rare front-row appearance with her daughter Lourdes, enjoying a date night with boyfriend Akeem Morris. The Queen of Pop opted for a lace skirt and leather jacket with a faux fur stole, while Lourdes channelled her mother’s daring style in sheer black.

Newlywed Charli XCX, who recently married The 1975 drummer George Daniel, embraced a playful Nineties aesthetic in frilled pink hot pants and an oversized red bomber jacket. Hailey Bieber went leggy in pale pink shorts paired with a sporty orange-and-brown zip top.

Other notable attendees included Renee Zellweger, who kept it classic in a black trouser suit, and supermodel Linda Evangelista, who turned heads in a dramatic faux fur coat. The show, staged beneath the Eiffel Tower, marked the latest collection from creative director Anthony Vaccarello, known for his sharp, sultry silhouettes.

Earlier on Monday, Moss made headlines for her first ever podcast interview on BBC Radio 6 Music, in which she recalled her close friendship with David Bowie. The model presents a new eight-part series, David Bowie: Changeling, exploring the singer’s artistic evolution between 1970 and 1975, featuring contributions from Elton John, Boy George and Iggy Pop.

Paris Fashion Week runs until October 7, with further major houses set to unveil their Spring/Summer 2026 collections.
