Amanda Holden sparked debate among her followers after attending the British Fashion Awards 2022 with her 16-year-old daughter Lexi. The Britain's Got Talent judge shared photos on Instagram of the pair at London's Royal Albert Hall, where Lexi made her red carpet debut.
Holden, 51, wore a striking red off-the-shoulder Nicolas Jebran gown made of shiny PVC material that hugged her curves and featured a floor-length train. Lexi opted for a Sylvio Giardina black gown with a lace bodice and ruffled skirt, accessorised with thin-strapped heels and silver necklaces, her blond hair slicked back into a ponytail.
Before the event, Holden filmed Lexi preparing, captioning the video: 'My little Lexi is coming to #fashionawards2022. She's going official.' The mother-daughter duo received an outpouring of compliments from celebrities including Piers Morgan, Michelle Visage, and Nicola McLean, with many praising their resemblance.
However, some fans criticised Lexi's mature look.
