Nikita Kuzmin Announces 35-Date UK Tour After Strictly Come Dancing Final
Strictly's Nikita Kuzmin reveals huge 35-date UK tour

Strictly Come Dancing professional Nikita Kuzmin has unveiled a spectacular career move for 2026, following his impressive run to the final of the BBC show's latest series.

From the Strictly Ballroom to a National Tour

The 27-year-old dancer, who reached the 2025 final with last-minute partner Amber Davies, will not only be joining the Strictly live tour but is also set to headline his own major production. Titled 'Burn the Floor: Supernova', the high-energy dance show will launch across the UK in the summer of 2026.

Fans nationwide will have ample opportunity to see Kuzmin in action, with the tour scheduled to visit a whopping 35 different venues on multiple dates. The spectacle is set to kick off on 9th June next year.

A Fusion of Dance Styles Led by a Choreography Legend

The show will be crafted by world-renowned choreographer and BAFTA award-winner Jason Gilkison. Audiences can expect Nikita to showcase a dynamic fusion of ballroom, Latin, and contemporary styles, breathing fresh life into classic dances like the Viennese Waltz and Foxtrot.

Gilkison's 'Burn the Floor' company has a prestigious global reputation, having thrilled audiences on Broadway and in London's West End since 1999. The company is widely credited with revolutionising ballroom dance, paving the way for shows like Strictly Come Dancing.

Dancing Talent Runs in the Kuzmin Family

Nikita's flair for performance appears to be a family trait. His sister, Anastasia Kuzmina, has been a professional dancer on Ballando con le Stelle – the Italian version of Dancing with the Stars – since 2012.

Originally from Ukraine, the siblings moved to Italy when Nikita was nine, both immersing themselves in the dance scene. Anastasia has also branched into musical theatre, appearing in the Italian production of 'Neverland' in 2024.

Beyond dance, Nikita proudly revealed his sister's reality TV success, noting she won the Italian version of Race Across the World. He credited her travels with inspiring his own solo trip to India, which he describes as his favourite to date.

The announcement follows an emotionally charged Strictly final, where Nikita and Love Island winner Amber Davies were ultimately defeated by former Lioness Karen Carney and her partner Carlos Gu. Their journey was marked by undeniable chemistry, which even sparked rumours of a potential 'Strictly curse' after Nikita was seen kissing Amber on the head post-rehearsals, though both remain in separate relationships.

With tickets now on sale, 2026 is shaping up to be a blockbuster year for the charismatic professional dancer as he takes his biggest step yet onto stages across the country.
