Wake Up Dead Man: How to Watch Knives Out 3 in the UK

The third instalment of Rian Johnson's whodunnit series, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, is now available to stream on Netflix in the UK. The film, which sees Daniel Craig reprise his role as detective Benoit Blanc, arrived on the platform on Friday 12th December, just two weeks after its theatrical release on 28th November.

In this latest mystery, Blanc is tasked with solving the seemingly impossible murder of a charismatic Monsignor, played by Josh Brolin, at a small Catholic parish in upstate New York. The star-studded cast includes Josh O'Connor, Glenn Close, and Andrew Scott, among others. Early reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, with some critics calling it the best entry yet.

Despite its Netflix debut, the film is still showing in select UK cinemas. Director Rian Johnson expressed his hope that theatres would continue to screen the film if there is demand, writing on X: "It can absolutely stay in theatres after the 12/12 Netflix drop if there’s demand — it’s up to the theatres to decide." He also voiced frustration over the limited theatrical rollout.
