Vicky Pattison has been back in Newcastle filming an 'exciting' TV project she is staying tight-lipped about, while also enjoying nights out with her closest friends. During her time in the Toon, the former Geordie Shore star visited party bar the Purple Peacock and the luxurious Hotel Gotham.
A return to her roots
It has been more than 15 years since Vicky, then in her early 20s, shot to TV fame on Geordie Shore. She and co-stars including Charlotte Crosby and Gaz Beadle attracted plenty of attention for their wild antics as the Newcastle-shot series made its headline-hitting debut on MTV in 2011. Vicky stayed on the show for close to four years and, within a year of leaving the Geordie Shore house for the final time, had landed a best-selling book and DVD and won millions of votes to win I'm A Celebrity.
She has remained a regular on screens over the last decade, and last year was back on primetime TV to take part in Strictly Come Dancing, with fans left livid over her earlier-than-expected exit from the BBC ballroom. Vicky, who now lives in Essex and hosts the successful podcast Get A Grip with Angela Scanlon, revealed to her millions of Instagram followers that she had been back in Newcastle filming, bringing husband Ercan Ramadan with her.
A week of celebrations
During her week-long return to her old stomping ground, Vicky and her pals enjoyed the 'best ever' bottomless brunch at rooftop restaurant Chaophraya, did a country-themed drunch at Purple Peacock, headed for cocktails at Mother Mercy – the Newcastle bar rated one of the country's best – and ended the night at Katie O'Brien's, just a stone's throw from Tup Tup Palace, where Vicky spent many a night with the Geordie Shore cast.
In her Instagram post about being back home, Vicky also revealed that she and Ercan had stayed at Hotel Gotham, teasing that they had been busy filming 'something super exciting' without giving any further details.
