Team GB jockey Saffie Osborne, who won the Shergar Cup today, teamed up with DJ Marvin Humes for a surprise performance on a train, delighting commuters.
Unexpected Performance on the Train
Commuters on a South Western Railway service from Ascot to London Waterloo on Tuesday, August 4, were treated to an impromptu DJ set. Osborne and Humes performed together ahead of their appearances at the Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup & Concert at Ascot Racecourse.
Passengers danced along to house music, crowded around, and filmed the spontaneous show on their phones. Humes gave Osborne a quick DJing lesson during the trip.
Celebrating Victory
Osborne raised the Shergar Cup as Team Great Britain and Ireland claimed victory against Europe, Hong Kong, and the Rest of the World. She captained the team and clinched first place on Red Spells Danger in the 3.20 Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup Sprint.
The partnership was organized by Ascot Racecourse and South Western Railway to highlight the direct rail connection between Waterloo and Ascot. Humes is set to perform after racing alongside Blue, B*Witched, and Boyzlife.
