That tranquillity is shattered when Don Logan, played by Ben Kingsley, arrives and insists Gal take part in one last bank robbery in London, organised by crime chief Teddy Bass, portrayed by Ian McShane.
Sexy Beast unfolds as a series of confrontations between Gal's determination to remain retired and Don's increasingly forceful insistence that he return to his old life. Matters intensify when Gal implies Don's true reason for the visit is his obsession with Jackie, the wife of a friend, triggering the film's most significant moments.
