Geoffrey Moore, son of the late Sir Roger Moore, follows in his father's footsteps in the new British spy thriller Knightfall, from Miracle Media and Shogun Films. The UK trailer has been released, co-starring Ian Ogilvy, Nick Moran, and Machel Paré.
Critical Comparisons
The film has drawn comparisons to classic British action cinema. The Telegraph's Tom Fordy described it as being in “the same lineage of British films as The Wild Geese and Who Dares Wins,” while Infinity Magazine called it “A lot of fun… reminiscent of one of the best 007 epics.”
Plot Synopsis
The official synopsis reads: “When MI5 weapons technician Ros Knight (Jeanine Nerissa Sothcott) is unexpectedly called into a black ops mission, led by her field agent boyfriend Hugh (Moore), their objective is to intercept a deadly bioweapon before it can unleash devastation on British soil.
“When the operation goes catastrophically wrong, Ros finds herself on the run with a target on her back. With nowhere else to turn, she flees with Hugh to her childhood home – and to the one man she may still be able to trust: her estranged father, legendary retired spy catcher Charles Knight (Ogilvy).”
