A tragic helicopter crash in Rio de Janeiro has claimed the lives of three famous figures, including American singer Oliver Tree, DJ and music producer Lucas Frota, and Argentine YouTuber Gaspi.
Details of the Incident
The collision occurred when two helicopters collided above an electric vehicle yard. On board one of the aircraft were Oliver Tree, Lucas Frota (real name Lucas Brito Chaves, aged 21), and Gaspi (real name Gaspo3am), who had approximately 2.8 million YouTube subscribers. Also killed were Lucas Vignale and pilots Alexandre Souza and Charles Marsillac, bringing the total death toll to six.
Regulatory Compliance and Investigation
The helicopters, which departed from Angra and Jacarepaguá, were reportedly in compliance with regulations. Local Civil Police have launched an investigation and requested a forensic examination of the crash site. The fire department, Traffic Engineering Company, Comlurb, and teams from the 31st BPM are also involved in the response.
Oliver Tree, known for his unique musical style and eccentric persona, was 32 years old at the time of his death. The music and entertainment communities have expressed shock and grief over the loss.
