A two-month-old puppy named Soraya, who was cruelly abandoned in a bin alongside her four littermates, is desperately searching for a new home in the United Kingdom. The pups were discovered on Good Friday, left for dead in a cardboard box next to a trash bin in Greece. Fortunately, all five were rescued and are now under the care of Greek Stray ResQ, a volunteer-led organization dedicated to finding them loving families.
A Miracle Baby
A rescue worker described Soraya as a true miracle. She was born on April 8, 2026, and has been bottle-fed since birth, receiving round-the-clock medical care and affection. Her unique green-blue eyes make her exceptionally rare, as fewer than 2% of dogs have green eyes. Her fluffy coat and calm, sweet personality add to her charm.
Looking for a Forever Home
Soraya is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog. She is currently in Attica, Greece, but will be flown to the UK once a suitable adopter is found. The rescue emphasizes that she needs a dedicated family that can provide safety, stability, and love. Fostering is also an option for those who cannot commit to adoption.
How to Help
Greek Stray ResQ carefully matches animals with families, conducts home checks, and uses adoption contracts to ensure pets become cherished members of the household. The organization also provides food, blankets, shelter, and veterinary support to strays. To adopt Soraya or support their work, visit their website for more information.
