Peter Andre has spoken out about his surprise performance at the wedding of Venezuela Fury, the 16-year-old daughter of Tyson Fury and Paris Fury, who married Noah Price, 19, on the Isle of Man last weekend. The singer, best known for his 1990s hit 'Mysterious Girl', flew in secretly for the event, where the couple had their first dance to the track.
Writing in his new! magazine column, Andre described the gig as a 'flying visit', as he had to return to London immediately after for rehearsals of 'Mamma Mia! The Party'. He said: 'It was wonderful to be invited by the Fury family to perform at Venezuela’s wedding. It was a flying visit – quite literally – as I flew to the Isle of Man on the day.'
Andre revealed that the performance was kept a surprise from most guests, with sound checks conducted while the wedding party was at church. He added: 'Performing on the night was so much fun and it was great to get Tyson and Noah singing along as well!' The singer noted he is holding back video footage until the family's Netflix series, 'At Home With The Furys', airs.
The wedding featured 18 bridesmaids, including Bambi Fury, daughter of Molly-Mae Hague, and Venezuela's younger sisters. Andre's manager, Claire Powell, who also manages Venezuela's career, handled the booking. A source told the Daily Mail: 'Peter is the perfect person to perform, Venezuela is absolutely delighted.'
