Robert Pattinson Defends Batman Physique: 'I Worked Out Twice a Day'

Robert Pattinson has hit back at critics who questioned his physique in 'The Batman', insisting he trained rigorously for the role. In an interview with GQ magazine, the actor revealed he worked out twice daily, sometimes at 3am, to prepare for the 2022 film.

Pattinson, who is set to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne in 'The Batman: Part II', said he installed a home gym to build muscle for the sequel. He dismissed claims that he did not train, stating: 'I worked out every f***ing day. Even after that, I still look like I didn't work out.'

The actor also disclosed that the sequel will involve 11 weeks of night shoots, a detail he learned from the stunt team rather than official schedules. 'No one's even sent me a schedule,' he quipped.

Pattinson's preparation for the Batman sequel follows his exhausting experience filming Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey'. The production required daily climbs of 900 feet on the island of Favignana, Sicily, leaving the cast and crew visibly drained.
